Police and fire officials said nursing graduates, many of them from Santiago City in Isabela who were scheduled to take their licensure examination on December 19 and 20, were staying at the Bed and Breakfast Hotel and Restaurant on Mabini and Luna Streets here. The fire, which investigators suspected to have been caused by faulty wiring, broke out at past 1 a.m. (inquirer.net)
